In this, our first book of a series about Multi-Dimensional Warfare, we take you to Russia (U.S.S.R), Ukraine, and Yugoslavia, writing first-hand about our travels, adventures and perspectives. My wife and I have traveled to many places such as Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia—as well as the U.S.S.R. As a journalist, she has helped me to document these trips and will be translating the whole series into the Spanish language. The history of these places is so interesting that I wanted to share my point of view from these trips to the U.S.S.R. in the 1980's and 1990's, relating them to the present state of the business of multidimensional warfare. The most obvious comparison with the USSR is the USA. So, naturally, the second book of this series will be Special Gamble, Special Rules - U.S.A., Who's Driving the Hearse?
My focus for these writings is expressed in the cover art for the series. As you can see, the Eagle is chained and weighed down with a wide variety of traditional and unconventional weapons of warfare used in the military infrastructure. Though we do not pretend to be experts in the business of warfare, or history, or counterrevolution, I have attempted to take the reader into exploring relationships, history, conflicts, human emotions, how this all affects me, and you, the reader. We speak primarily from our own experience. Some of the most unexpected people we encountered were a genocidal leader of a nation, gurus in Southeast Asia, revolutionaries in Latin America as well as humanitarian groups and organizations in developing nations.
